Jon Moyer

Statistician

Jonathan (Jon) Moyer joined the ODP as a Statistician in November 2020. In this role, Dr. Moyer focuses on efforts to enhance the rigor and reproducibility of NIH-funded prevention research by promoting the use of the best available research methods. This includes expanding the resources available on the NIH’s Research Methods Resources website, providing guidance on the Methods: Mind the Gap webinar series, and collaborating with NIH Institutes and Centers on projects that require group randomization or delivery of interventions to groups.

Prior to joining the ODP, Dr. Moyer taught introductory statistics and mathematics classes at Husson University.

Dr. Moyer received his Ph.D. in biostatistics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He also holds a B.S. in physics, a B.A. in mathematics, and an M.S. in teaching from the University of Maine.
